Limbrel recalled, linked to serious side effects

Limbrel, a medical food marketed for osteoarthritis, has been recalled by Primus Pharmaceuticals. The recall was prompted by about 200 reports of adverse events, including several cases of liver toxicity and lung problems. All unexpired lots of Limbrel have been recalled per FDA request. Healthcare providers should tell any patients taking this product to stop using it immediately. Any patients who experienced lung or liver symptoms while taking Limbrel should report them to their provider.
